The Terese Lien Evenstad Quartet consists of four award-winning musicians from Norway, Sweden and Estonia. The group plays modern jazz that ranges from very intense rhythms to beautiful and harmonious melodies. Book the Terese Lien Evenstad Quartet!
Terese Lien Evenstad was nominated to Sweden's biggest jazz award Sveriges Radio P2 Jazzkatten's Newcomer of the Year 2018 and was awarded the Louis Armstrong scholarship the same year with the motivation "She has given the violin a new face in jazz". In 2019 Terese was selected for Up & coming 2019 where young jazz talents meet Bohuslän Big Band, and was named Young Swedish Soloist 2019 by Scenkonst Sörmland. She has received several scholarships over the years, one of the most recent of which was awarded by legendary guitarist Janne Schaffer and jury. The motivation was as follows:
"She moves freely between different genres, using her technical skills to adapt her playing to the music she performs. Her imagination and ability to phrase and improvise make her a particularly exciting musician".
