Merje Kägu is a guitarist and composer from Pärnu, Estonia, who now lives in Gothenburg. Her music oscillates between improvised jazz and classical composition. She creates a soulful atmosphere with both melancholy and joy. The music is cinematically meditative and evokes shifting musical landscapes with its Nordic melodies. Merje Kägu performs both as a solo artist and in collaboration with selected musicians, who perform her compositions and arrangements.
