KBK3

With roots in jazz, pop and folk music, the trio KBK3 moves through composed, improvised and organic landscapes, offering music that is at times intense and witty, at times powerful and wistful. Book KBK3!

The trio met during their joint years at the Gothenburg Academy of Music in 2018. The basis of their interaction is their strong friendship and love for each other. Each song is like its own little story, a memory of people passing through life. With a tonal language that brings to mind both Shai Maestro and Jan Johansson, there is an inherent sadness in the melodies, but everything is put to rest in the music.
