Berra's blues orchestra is a bunch of experienced blues freaks from Gothenburg. The musicians can also be found in bands such as Mr Bo & The Voodooers, Knock Out Greg and Bara Blues. Blues Bar, Engelen and Marieholm are some of the venues where Berras Blues Orchestra has played in recent years, to enthusiastic audiences.
Tribute to Tony Joe White is a concert programme that pays tribute to the master of swamp blues, with swampy grooves and storytelling lyrics from the Louisiana of roots music. Tony Joe White was a legendary songwriter and performer. "Polk Salad Annie" and "Willie Laura Mae Jones" made him world famous in the late '60s. He also wrote mega-hits like "Steamy Windows" and "Undercover Agent of the Blues". He has also written music for other artists such as Tina Turner and Elvis Presley.
